Important SST Card Upgrade Information

The NYC Department of Buildings has released a Service Update regarding the re-printing of SST cards on the new DOB Training Connect Platform. Beginning February 1, 2023, construction sites requiring DOB Licensed Safety Professionals will ONLY accept NYC DOB Training Connect Site Safety Training Cards. All previously issued non-DOB Training Connect cards by training providers must be replaced with the new version of cards.

Important Notice: SST Card Renewal Required

Attention SST card holders! The first SST cards were issued in May 2018 and have started expiring. Please check the expiration date on your card and ensure you enroll in a refresher training course before it expires. SST cards are valid for five years and can only be renewed upon successful completion of the refresher courses.

To renew your SST card, you must complete the required refresher training within one year prior to renewal:

  • Workers must complete 8 hours of refresher training.
  • Supervisors must complete 16 hours of refresher training.

Don’t wait—schedule your refresher training today to stay compliant and continue working safely!
In each course section, under the “Other Courses” category, please remove “N10-007” after “Network+” to maintain a consistent format with the A+ course listing. Remove this in all course pages with “Other Courses”.
